We'll be diving into different FLINTA* subcultures through film! Shakedown (2018), directed by Leilah Weinraub, is a documentary about a series of parties named 'Shakedown' founded by and for African American women in L.A, which featured go-go dancing and stripshows for the city's lesbian underground scene. We will also be watching a short film that dives into the Queer punk scene, the title will be revealed later. Then we open up the conversation and share thoughts and ideas about subcultures and space creation.

We'll end the night with dancing to the depths of FLINTA* punk, from the Dutch underground scene, to UK art punk to Pakistani-American wave, to Javanese electro punk!
